Prior to this, she was Senior Vice President, Marketing at Tommy Hilfiger, where she was responsible for building the brand on all levels--including the development of marketing strategies and media programs, overseeing the entire creative process and the development and implementation of strategic alliances. This is a very smart business move for New York and Company. The brand image of this company has changed for the better over the years. I believe the target market has changed from when it used to be Jones New York. More in fashion items are available and a younger more hip market is what they are trying to reach. To have the best over marketing for New York and Company is a must to branch out and let consumers know the change of image that has occured.
